Here, I finally found the sense of belonging — I had never expected to see such a big group of Korean Americans interested in civic and political engagement. This experience immensely inspired me, instilled in me a level of confidence, and encouraged me to step forward into the political field.

The opportunities and memories that KAGC has given me will continue to shape me my whole life, helping me make sense of my identity and my role within my community.

KAGC helped me shift my own perspective and understand my identity in such a significant way — being Korean American crystallized into something larger, and being Korean American became more than being simply born Korean.
